Advertising Disclosure

This page exists because U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidelines expect a clear, easy-to-find disclosure of any material connection between a site's content and its funding — even when, as is currently the case here, there isn't one to disclose yet. We'd rather have this page ready and accurate than add it only once it's needed.

Current status: no advertising, no sponsorships, no affiliate links

At the time of writing, Justfixwindows.com does not run third-party display advertising, does not accept payment to feature or recommend a product, and does not use affiliate links. Nothing on this site earns us a commission if you click it. See our trust page for more on how that shapes what gets recommended in a guide, and in what order.

If that changes

If we ever introduce advertising, affiliate links, or sponsored content, this page will be updated first, with a plain description of what's in use — which network or program, and what it means for you as a reader (for instance, whether a specific link earns us a commission). Any individual page carrying a sponsored element or affiliate link will say so directly on that page too, not just here.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy would also be updated at the same time, since advertising typically comes with its own data practices worth disclosing separately.

What we'd commit to either way

Even if advertising is added down the line, our editorial standards hold regardless: a paid placement doesn't get to outrank the step that actually fixes the problem fastest, and it doesn't change what a guide says is true about a piece of software or a fix.
